No, he was not the only one. Loki felt somewhat a fool in this garb, wanting his Asgardian threads back. He had a very simple style and this was not it.

"Perhaps," he replied, already looking to manipulate the situation if he can and not bothered by this Hawke's reaction to his attire.

He took note that this other person didn't offer a name. Either he was overly protective of his name or he didn't understand what was polite. There was a momentary pause before Hawke spoke again.

"Do you know where we are? Do you live here?"

"I do now," he admitted. "I received the note regarding the Elders, did you not?"

"I know not where they are." It's more of a grumble when he answers. He knows this can't possibly be a place where the Ancestors reside. It's not what he thought it would be, at least.

"I believe I do," while he did not want to be here and his senses were all dulled, it would likely not be a hindrance to have a beefy sort around. They made excellent fodder and distraction if required for such a purpose.

"I can sense a faint magical resonance," he would rather have his senses returned to him in full if he must reside here a while before returning, but they were not dulled completely.

Hawke's face blanked out a bit at the word 'resonance.' Big words were not his thing.

"Where are they?"

Loki simply lifted a finger and pointed, starting off in the most likely direction. If they were Elders, they would either possess the magical resonance themselves or control the devices that did.

Amused and a little interested in this unorthodox mortal (from what he knew of Midgardians) he filled the silence.

"So which country are you from on Midgard?"

His eyes followed where Loki pointed. He still didn't know this man's name and yet he had to swallow down some of his instincts and trust him. This was his only lead so far.

"I am not from this Midgard," he answered easily, grey eyes moving back to Loki. "I do not know that place." He didn't offer where he was from, either.

"Which of the realms are you from, then?" Loki asked, now aware that there were more than just the nine realms of Yggdrasil.

"A place called Atlean." He gave the world name to the other as he tried to figure things out. He knew Loki was there, but he couldn't feel the other's blood as he should. Was it because Loki wasn't a living creature in the traditional sense or was it because of something else?

"Do you know that place?"

"Not a realm I have visited," he mused, thinking back to the worlds he had found after the seemingly eternal agony of that wormhole. "Nor heard of."

Hawke nodded, feeling a little more relaxed. "I do not know if it is a place that is well known, but it is my home." Barring the fact that he had two homes. "You belong to this Midgard place?"

"Hardly. I am Loki, of Asgard," he replied, finally giving a name.

Finally, a name! Hawke bowed formally again. "Well met. Have you met the elders here?"

"Not yet but we will have words when I do," Loki replied, an undercurrent of anger in his voice.

There was a sound of ascent from Hawke. He was equally displeased. "Yes. No one should be stolen from their family. Let us go."

Yep. He was completely on his way to go with Loki to meet with these 'elders.'

Loki felt he had no family to be stolen from, just a realm he intended to rule with an iron fist in payback for wresting the throne from him in the first place.

Now with a little muscular back up in tow, Loki was happier. He knew something was wrong with his magic, it was like he was exhausted and the effects were dulled - but he was not exhausted. He needed the back up, just in case these elders used force. While he could physically fight, he preferred trickery to keep his form safe.

"I believe they are not too far."

Hawke wanted to learn the story and figure out what was going on. The last thing on his mind was violence since he knew it wouldn't solve anything. And while he was strong looking, he wasn't the type to throw his brawn around. Very easily he could be mistaken for a 'Lenny' from Of Mice and Men given how unfamiliar he was with human interaction.

"Let us go." He was more than willing to follow Loki and find a way back home.

Loki was more than happy to lead the way, he preferred being in charge with no one to overshadow him and make him feel inferior in any way, shape or form.

"Tell me of your Atlean," he requested.

"It is like any other world. It has people and they make their lives there. The land holds a wild magic and we try to stay away from the humans and dragons."

He spoke plainly, following Loki obediently.

"Away from humans and dragons and a world of magic? I think I like the sound of your realm," Loki commented.

There was a half shrug from Hawke. "It is a large world. Most of the time is it not difficult. What is your world like?"

"My world is the Eternal Realm, it is a shining jewel, a beacon of hope to the nine realms of Yggdrasil and I am it's King," Loki said, somewhat proudly.

Loki's description didn't tell Hawke anything. Beacon of hope because of why? And what was a King? Loki did look proud so Hawke smiled and nodded, trying to follow.

"It is good that your place will bring hope to others. They must be sad places."

"Some are," he blocked his mind to Jötunheimr, did not want to think of the place he truly hailed from, he was Asgardian and that was all he cared to think, unless he was attempting to irritate Odin.
